TUITION INFORMATION

Invoices

The first invoice of the school year, dated August 1, and the first invoice of the summer, dated June 1, are mailed to your home.  All other invoices are put in your child’s cubby on the first day of each month.  If you don’t find an invoice, please come to the office.  If you would like a receipt each month, let the office know.  Please mail or bring all payments to the Boulder Journey School office.

Tuition and Fees

  • The annual Registration Fee is $100 and is non-refundable.
  • Tuition is computed for an entire year and then divided into 10 or 12 equal payments.
  • Tuition is billed in advance.
  • If your child registers after the school year begins, the first payment is pro-rated.
  • Tuition does not include Drop-In Enrichment or Holiday Day Care.
  • Holiday Day Care dates are listed in the School Calendar.
  • There are no make-up days or refunds issued.
  • Credit is given for a one-week vacation for families who are registered full-time (over 30 hours a week for 12 months).  Please come to the office to arrange vacation credit prior to your vacation.
  • The Returned Check Fee is $25.
  • The Late Payment Fee is $25 and is applicable if your payment is received after the 15th of the month.
  • The Overtime Fee is $1 per minute and is applicable if your child is picked up after 6:00pm.
  • Drop-In Enrichment is calculated on the whole hour and billed at the end of the month.
  • Children dropped off more than 5 minutes before the hour and children picked up more than 5 minutes after the hour are charged for a full hour of Enrichment.

Payment Methods

  • Options include making payments by the 15th of each month, by the semester, or by the year.
  • Payments may be made in cash, by credit card or check payable to Boulder Journey School.
  • The person responsible for payment is required to leave a copy of the information appearing on his/her credit card at the time of registration.
  • If your payment is more than 5 days late your credit card account will be charged.  If your credit card is not approved for the charge, a $25 processing fee is added to your bill for that month.
  • If you fail to pay and we have to retain an attorney, your child will be dropped from the program and you will be required to reimburse us for all costs of collection, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees.
